GIBSON company was founded in 1935. The home of Gibson electric guitars today is "Gibson USA," built in 1974 in Nashville specifically for the production of Gibson's Les Paul guitars. Although the entire guitar industry went through a slump in the late '70s, the spirit of innovation remained strong at Gibson. In response to a growing demand for vintage stylings, Gibson tapped its rich history and reissued the dot-neck version of the ES-335 in 1981 and the flametop sunburst Les Paul in 1982. At the same time, two legendary guitarists joined Gibson- B.B. King in 1980 with the Lucille model and Chet Atkins in 1982 with his new concept of a solidbody acoustic guitar.Today's Gibson electric guitars represent the history as well as the future of the electric guitar.
THE CHORD BUDDY created by Travis Perry, ChordBuddy system was designed to make your guitar-playing dreams a reality by gradually helping you play the guitar. From the get-go, you’ll start strumming. In fact, the system starts by teaching you to play 6 songs. Then you’ll discover special tricks to improve playing. Finally, the color-coded tabs can be removed one at a time so you can form chords on your own. It’s that simple! Since then,,Travis has rolled out other products in the ChordBuddy suite that help just about anyone learn guitar chords, as well as tune, hold and maintain their guitars. Music teachers, children, senior citizens, people with disabilities, and people with debilitating arthritis are using ChordBuddy to enjoy guitar playing.
LICHTY GUITARS - 50 Merrywood Lane, Tryon, NC 28782. In their small shop tucked into the foothills of the NC Blue Ridge Mountains Jay builds custom handmade acoustic guitars and ukuleles. One of the first questions he often gets is, “How did you become a guitar builder?” Their journey into lutherie came on the heels of a thirty-five year career as a custom home builder and carpenter. Their love of playing music combined with these skills made for a natural transition into custom guitar and ukulele building. What started as a hobby, building ukuleles out of the garage, hit overdrive once Jay built his first guitar under the guidance of Virginia luthier, Wayne Henderson. In fact, the day he finished that first guitar was the day he began building the workshop.

JIMMY CASE - Before starting jimmyCASE, He worked as a TV executive (American Gladiators, ABC Family). He was always frustrated carrying his wallet in one pocket and iPhone in another -- on the set, going through airport security, or just sitting down with my stuffed pockets. He kept thinking to himself, wouldn't it be great to simplify your life and get rid of your wallet? So He decided to do both: He designed the jimmyCASE in my Southern California garage and gave up my TV career to make jimmyCASES full time. Elastic pocket stretches to carry what you need - Unlike wallet cases made from plastic or leather which have limited stretch, jimmyCASE is designed to be used without stretching out. jimmyCASE's elastic bands are custom-woven just for us, giving our cases the flexibility hold up to six cards or bulky items like a car key without losing elasticity.
